Corazon Films UK's Anita Lewton is teaching this course is for all filmmakers, MA graduates and emerging creative industry career changers who wish to understand and start fulfilling the business side of film making rather than the 'creative' aspects.
It is designed to be taken as 'blended learning' with tutorials in each of the following topics (comprised of 35 hours of filmed videos) and each week a marked professional document / assignment which is given feedback privately - then each week for 5 weeks a once a week LIVE online tutorial with the group peers and course facilitator to discuss any remaining questions and issues arising from the weeks work.
It is particularly suitable for CEOs MDs of newer companies who have not had managerial experience of managing filmed content - 'webisodes films or other formats of content'.

Imaginox hosts ‘Beyond the Story – Getting your film Greenlit’ at the Edinburgh Film Festival
The Imaginox Academy of Creative Arts, the newly launched Global Online Film Lab and Networking Platform will be contributing to the Edinburgh Film Festival, this June.
As a live and interactive site, Imaginox’s intended creation has been three-fold:
- To create highly crafted Live & Interactive Online Film Programmes;
- To connect the film community to world-renowned expert contributors;
- To provide tangible industry-related benefits to members;
- To matchmake individuals and projects with key industry communities.
Imaginox will be hosting the event: Beyond the Story – Getting your project Greenlit!’ on Monday 20thJune 14.00 – 15.00 at Festival House, Teviot.
The event co-hosted by Imaginox CEO Arjun Chatterji and Imaginox Mentor, Anita Lewton (Producer, Screenwriter and former co-chair of the NPA) who heads up the ‘First Feature Producing Lab’ will discuss and analyse key topics such as, why do some films get funding faster than others, is your script topical and current, how to assemble a creative team around your project and knowing where and when to shoot your film.
Together with other key figures from the festival, the aim of the event will be to give you a better understanding of the industry and demystify the complex subject of film financing.
Additionally, on Sunday 19th June, Arjun Chatterji will be a guest panellist at the Distrify – DIY Distribution Event from 16.30 – 17.30, followed by networking drinks where you will be able to speak to both Arjun and Anita, with regards to the Imaginox platform.

Anita will also be representing the International Film Guide following their successful 2011 book launch in Berlin in Feb 2011.
Anita's Associate Andrew Green at Accidental Media attended SXSW in Texas pitching DISTRIFY and will be returning to Cannes with Anita to again present this innovative distribution method there.

Feature development grant from Scottish Screen
Scottish Screen recently confirmed its investment in Accidental Media with a development grant for their proposed feature film ideas. Accidental Media’s team of writers (Alan Bissett, Peter Gerard and Adam Stafford) will work with Andy Green and London-based consultant Anita Lewton to develop highly innovative feature film treatments this summer.
“We are determined to turn our skills and successes with short films and long-form documentaries towards innovative and original Scottish feature films,” says Andy Green. “We are blending our team’s originality with our deep market knowledge to successfully bring our feature film ideas to the international marketplace.”

Anita is attending the 6th Dubai International Film Festival as Production Consultant for London-based 7th Heaven Films.
Writer/director Maythem Riddha has a project in the Dubai connect market and they will be meeting financiers and developers from four different continents: the Middle East, India, the USA and Europe and hopefully South Africa!
