When NOUREDINE, 19, a young Algerian Kabylie student re-unites with his brother ALI, 29, in France, his experience leads him down a dark path when they return to their natal village amidst a growing local independence movement.
Amazigh was selected for the prestigious script development programme Save Our Scripts (SOS), run by The Bureau UK production company. Anita submitted the project set in France and Algeria and joined 13 other writers in London for the initial week of development workshops with guests and developers from Europe. Amazigh was selected for the Bourse Aide Du Development fonds by the Region Langedoc Roussillon in 2016. The project was pitched at the Cinemed film festival pitch projects market.
